(New Orleans – May 13, 2026) — Families still seeking a seat in Kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year are encouraged to participate in K-12 Open Enrollment, which runs from Wednesday, May 13 through Friday, September 4, 2026.
Important Note: Families who have already secured a seat for the 2026-2027 school year and do not wish to transfer, should not participate in Open Enrollment.
This Open Enrollment period is designed for:
- Families who need a seat in a NOLA Public Schools campus for the upcoming school year
- Families who wish to change their current school placement for the 2026-2027 school year
How to Participate:
- Transfer to a school with available seats by submitting the online Open Enrollment form at: https://enrollnolaps.com/k12openenrollment
- Or visit a Family Resource Center for in-person assistance
Once the Open Enrollment form is submitted, families must follow up and complete registration directly with their new school within five working days.
